Each second we live
is a new and unique moment of the universe,
a moment that will never be again.
And what do we teach our children?
We teach them that two and two make four,
and that Paris is the capital of France.
When will we also teach them what they are?
We should say to each of them:
Do you know what you are? You are a marvel.
You are unique. In all the years that have passed,
there has never been another child like you.
Your legs, your arms, your clever fingers,
the way you move.
You may become a Shakespeare,
a Michelangelo, a Beethoven.
You have the capacity for anything.
Yes, you are a marvel.
And when you grow up,
can you then harm another
who is, like you, a marvel?
You must work, we must all work,
to make the world worthy of its children.

Currently, our species is behaving very much like a parasite devouring and poisoning the earth. Whether you agree with this or not, the fact that it is happening all around us is self-evident. We are critically de-stabilizing the bio-diversity of our whole planet and placing the burden on our children, their children, and leaving the next generations to deal with a toxic, impaired, and ravaged environment. This is not being responsible, or accountable and it is definitely not justice. It is not noble. And it is not the legacy that I want to leave behind.

So now what do we do?
Let us first try to see the the root of the problem.
What causes a species to become like rogue cancer cells that devour
and destroy the very environment that sustains them?
I believe the simplest analogy is that humanity is the victim
of its own success. We are suffering from a power-over
virus
that is the legacy of the hunter-gatherers who destroyed and conquered
the first and earliest civilizations who had maintained peace
through power-with
others.
These earliest civilizations lived in peace, without weapons,
wars, armaments, or walls and traded manufactured goods
and textiles with the armed hunter-gather tribes
for hundreds and hundreds of years.
What went wrong?
We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark;
the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.

I believe that greed, power, jealousy, and gluttony motivated
the hunter-gatherers to conquer and take it all for themselves.
They became possessed to possess and their power-over
behavior
became the dominant paradigm.
We have been living under it, as slaves
to it, ever since.
I think that evolution is like a two steps forward, one step back
kind of thing. If so, then this was one huge step back.
So what is the solution to a virus based in
power-over
mentality and behavior?
The answer of course, is an anti-virus that introduces a power-with
mentality and behavior.
Sounds simple and obvious enough,
but what does that look like in reality?
I have a dream...
I have a few ideas to affect change in the world. All of them
are based on the same principles of empathy, non-violence,
and teaching peace, through Gratitude in Action.
The simplest and the most profound idea that I have is
to enrich the lives of the greatest number of people who are
struggling at the bottoms of the pyramids of the world.
This plan begins an activity that effects change immediately for those
who need it the most, who by their nature are generally
the most kind-hearted, loving, trusting, and giving souls.
This solution, when practiced and shared, teaches by example:
As you give so shall you receive,
What goes around comes around,
and most importantly, that
Love is greater than Fear.
The Constitution of the United States
is based on inter-tribal treaties
that Native Americans had with each other.
This is what allowed the Native Americans
to live in relative peace and autonomy among themselves.
However, what the U.S. government did,
was to exploit the goodwill of the Native Americans
and twisted all the treaties to benefit the white man
and leave the mistakenly named Indian
Red man
with almost no land, country, or home.
You see, the Red man
did not understand the idea of the ownership of land
because Indians have always felt,
and still do, that we belong to the earth,
and not the other way around.
What also was lost and forgotten,
or ignored from the Native American culture,
was how to maintain a land of abundance and plenty.
The forests were always full of game and the bison and buffallo ran free.
The rivers stayed clear, and the land was rich and lush
because the red man honored the earth.
He did not seek to have Power-over
Her,
but rather he belonged to the earth and shared Power-with
Her.
Abundance was maintained because the Red man did not hoard
food or goods. They gave freely to each other when Nature and
the Great Spirit provided much, and so all of the people lived
in a state of giving and receiving as a way of life.
It is in this spirit of giving and receiving freely that I have designed
and created a means of returning to a world of abundance and good will
before we are all reduced to dogs begging in the darkness.
I have designed Circles Within Circles
as a social anti-virus that
will begin to dissolve the fear, hate, and pyramids of power-over
others that create and maintain a world of suffering
through scarcity and poverty consciousness.
It is said that the Warriors of the Rainbow
shall return to guide the people of the earth back
to a way of life that is rich with abundance.
In truth, who are the Warriors of the Rainbow?
It is we, who are all the many colors of the people
of the children of the earth,
coming together to live in peace at last.
And if you do not believe that the Great Spirit
of God or Goddess,
or whatever you believe in,
would want us to live in peace upon the earth,
then what kind of God do you believe in?
I believe that activating this model is the antidote
that will restore abundance and power-with
others
through simple community acts of
Gratitude and Giving in Action.
Even now, the spirit of the Red man is still giving.
As we re-learn how to live,
humbly we must come to realize that the Great Spirit
was, and and truly is
the Great Spirit of us all.
If I have seen farther than others,

on the shoulders of giants.
